Locum Tenens Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – Pain Management

Kaiser Permanente is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide full‑time locum tenens coverage across two of its Pain Management sites in the Atlanta metro area. This role requires a provider with strong pain management experience who is comfortable working independently and floating between two outpatient clinics on a scheduled basis.

Position Overview
- Role: Locum Tenens PA or NP – Pain Management
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Setting: Outpatient Pain Management
- Floating: Required — provider will rotate between Glenlake and Gwinnett locations with scheduled days assigned at each site
- Start: ASAP upon credentialing
- Duration: Ongoing need
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive pain management evaluations
- Manage chronic and acute pain conditions
- Perform follow‑up visits and medication management
- Collaborate within Kaiser Permanente’s integrated care model
- Provide patient education and develop individualized treatment plans
- Document all encounters accurately in the EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license
- Experience in Pain Management required
- Active Georgia license (PA or NP)
- Active DEA
- Strong EMR proficiency
- Ability to float between two outpatient clinics
- Comfortable working independently in a high‑volume environment
