Physician Assistant – Worker’s Compensation Injuries

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in orthopedics, occupational medicine, or urgent care, with a strong ability to evaluate, diagnose, and treat work-related injuries.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough medical evaluations and physical exams for injured workers
- Diagnose and treat work-related injuries following evidence-based guidelines
- Develop and oversee treatment plans, including referrals for physical therapy, imaging, or specialists as needed
- Perform minor procedures such as joint injections, suturing, and splinting
- Document patient encounters accurately in patient charts
- Communicate enthusiastically and effectively with employers, case managers, and insurance companies regarding patient progress and work status
- Provide patient education on injury prevention and rehabilitation
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physician Assistant (PA-C) in Georgia
- Experience in occupational medicine, orthopedics, or urgent care preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a diverse patient population
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
