Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing for NP or PA certificate
- Must have RN licensure in the state of GA or PA certificate
- Ideal candidate will have surgical/ procedural experience preferably in vascular/ interventional services
ยท Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) Experience
- Knowledge of sterile technique
- Sound understanding of all federal and state regulations including HIPAA and OSHA
- Strong understanding of Incident To services
- Strong customer service and communications skills and the ability to articulate, educate both verbally and in written form to patients and healthcare professionals

Responsibilities
- The NP/ PA will work directly with vascular surgeon providing quality patient care services from diagnostic, pre-procedure, intra-op and post care
- This dynamic position allows the NP/ PA to work closely with the vascular surgeons as well have some clinic days
- The Nurse Practitioner/PA is responsible for providing quality patient care during diagnostic office visits, pre-procedure, Intra-procedure, and Post-Procedure Phases
- The NP/PA serves as a resource, and collaborates with other members of the team by utilizing the clinic process to promote optimum patient care outcomes in accordance with our philosophy, policies, procedures, and standards
- Daily management, coordination, and evaluation of nursing, administrative and clinical staff
- Ensure policies and practices effectively support sound and safe patient care
- Provide in-service training and orientation to staff
- Works closely with Administration to ensure the organization complies with local, state and federal laws and regulations as well as regulatory and accrediting agencies including accreditation requirements with Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care – AAAHC
- Reviews patient history and screens documents for Physician final review and medical clearance for surgery
- Interfaces with primary care physicians, specialists and various disciplines to assist patient with procedure preparation and post-operative care
- Participates in data collection and analysis of clinical outcomes of care
- Round on patients in the hospital.
- Round on patients in the hospital every 3rd weekend.

Nurse Practitioner or PA – Ambulatory Surgery Center
Our mission is to over-serve our patients, providers, dialysis centers, partner physicians and teammates in a morally and ethically centered manner. We are seeking an experienced NP or PA for a multi-site office and ambulatory surgery center business specializing in vascular services in Columbus, GA. The NP/ PA will work directly with vascular surgeon providing quality patient care services from diagnostic, pre-procedure, intra-op and post care. This dynamic position allows the NP/ PA to work closely with the vascular surgeons as well have some clinic days.
Position Summary:

Education/Experience:
- Master of Science in Nursing for NP or PA certificate
- Must have RN licensure in the state of GA or PA certificate
- Minimum 1 year experience as an NP or PA – Ideal candidate will have surgical/ procedural experience preferably in vascular/ interventional services
- Experience in Nephrology considered
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) Experience
- Knowledge of sterile technique
- Sound understanding of all federal and state regulations including HIPAA and OSHA.
