THE SHORT: We need 2 Physician Assistants for the ED for a full-time, long-term Government contract. The pay is $95/hour, and any state license is acceptable.

LOCATION: Augusta VA Health Care System, 950 15th Street, Augusta, GA 30901.

START DATE/DURATION:

• The tentative start date is 5/1. It will depend on credentialing (which can take 2-4 weeks). We can schedule a start date based on your schedule as well.
• This is a 3-year contract. (Note: the duration is a contract between us and the Government. Like any other job, if life means you must leave, you just give us a 60-day notice.)

COMPENSATION:

• $105/hour 1099 or W-2 options available, all-inclusive
• We cover Med Mal (claims made + 3yr tail)

SCHEDULE:

• The ED operates 24/7/365. Shift times are subject to change based on ED volumes and staff utilization at the discretion of VA management.
• No call, or after-hours coverage is needed
• 10-hour shifts. Sample:
  • 9 am – 7 pm
  • 4 pm 2 am (these are only weekday shifts)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Any state license, full and unrestricted
• Must either carry certification in emergency medicine or have recent, substantial experience working primarily in an ED setting of at least 5 years in duration.
• BLS, ACLS, ATLS
• DEA
• Must be able to pass the Governments background fingerprint check
