Emergency Department Physician’s Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Posterity Group LLC is a veteran owned, service-disabled small business, headquartered in Rockville, MD, that specializes in federal government contracting and staffing. We are tasked with staffing the Augusta VA Healthcare System for Emergency Department (ED) Physician’s Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. The Emergency Department Physicians is expected to perform the following:

• Providing comprehensive medical care to patients, using sound medical knowledge and pertinent standards of care.
• Performing therapeutic, corrective, and prescriptive measures on designated inpatients or outpatients.
• Assuming delegatory responsibilities assigned by supervising physicians.
• Educating patients and families to facilitate healthy adjustment to new or changed health patterns.
• Evaluating treatment and healthcare plans for effectiveness and modifying them according to clinical standards and practice protocols.

Requirements:

• at least two years of experience in relevant field
• at least Bachelor’s in relevant field, Master’s preferred
• Valid license and certifications
• BLS/ACLS
• DEA if applicable
