Practice Details
This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of liver and pancreatic oncology with a diverse patient population. This role will involve on-call rounding for one day every 3-4 weeks, typically on Saturdays or Sundays.
Our expert surgical oncologists, Dr. Eddie K. Abdalla and Dr. Malini D. Sur, offer cutting-edge, multidisciplinary treatment for patients with benign and malignant disorders of the liver, bile ducts, gallbladder, and pancreas. Utilizing the latest in diagnostics, minimally invasive, and open surgery, we are proud to serve our patients in the Atlanta region and beyond with the highest standard of surgical care.

Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, and with medical consultation and direction, performs physical, psycho-social assessment; establishes medical diagnosis; orders and evaluate diagnostic tests; manages follow up care; does other related work as required. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, developing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting lab tests and results, along with providing preventative healthcare and counseling.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED
  • A college degree as a Physician’s Assistant from a recognized university, affiliated with a medical school
  • Please refer to the Medical Staff Guidelines for certifications and credentialing applicable to this position.
PREFERRED
  • Two to five years of experience with a medical practice setting where diagnosis, treatment and patient education were the main focus of the role
