Job Summary:
Metro Atlanta Gastroenterology Team is seeking an experienced part-time Physician Assistant. The physician assistant in this role will provide advanced practitioner care to patients under the supervision of a Gastroenterologist. In the clinical setting, the physician assistant coordinates overall care to enhance the entire patient experience, which includes physical assessments, treatment plans, laboratory and diagnostic tests and patient referrals for ongoing care.
Qualifications:
- Unencumbered license to practice as PA in the state of Georgia or eligible to receive in the State of Georgia
- PA must be a graduate of an accredited physician assistant program; NCCPA certified
- PA must complete 100 hours of CME every two (2) years and take the recertification exam every six (6) years
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification required
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider ACLS preferred
- Current DEA with no restrictions
- Strong computer skills, including EMR/EHR
