Our practice specializes in comprehensive treatments for various conditions, ensuring personalized care tailored to each patient’s unique needs. You’ll have the opportunity to engage in:
- Psychiatric and neuro comprehensive evaluations
- Effective medication management strategies
- Individualized treatments for conditions like depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD/ADD, autism spectrum disorder, schizophrenia, and more
- Implementing strategies for personal growth and development through life coaching sessions
Your Role With Us:
As our new Physician’s Assistant or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you’ll play a pivotal role on our team, serving a diverse patient demographic, including young adolescents. Your work will be dynamic and fulfilling, focusing on conducting thorough psychiatric evaluations, collaborating with other passionate professionals, and forming deep connections with patients of all ages to guide them through their mental health journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with a diverse patient base through initial evaluations and follow-up assessments
- Develop and manage personalized treatment plans that cater to each patient’s unique needs
- Prescribe and oversee psychiatric medication protocols
- Collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to deliver comprehensive care
- Educate and empower patients and their families about their mental health, fostering understanding and empowerment across a broad age spectrum
- Keep meticulous and confidential records, because every detail matters in our quest for exceptional care
What We’re Looking For:
Physician’s Assistant:
- Graduated from Physician’s Assistant school
- Licensed in the state of Florida
- Experience in or willing to learn to treat children and adolescents
- 1+ year of experience (preferred)
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- A Master’s degree in Nursing with a certification in Psychiatry
- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license and PMHNP certification
- At least 2 years of experience in a comparable role
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population, including pediatrics, adolescents and adults, demonstrating sensitivity and adaptability to their needs
- Exceptional communication skills – because connecting with patients and team members is at the heart of what we do
