Full Job Description
Boutique OBGYN practice in Winter Park Florida seeking an experienced PA for a rapidly growing practice. Work in a collaborative team environment with excellent patient clientele! NP will work directly with 2 physicians and an NP caring for women throughout their life cycle, including adolescent care, obstetrics care, routine gynecology care, perimenopausal, and menopausal care.
The essential job functions include the following:
- Working closely with team and office staff in a team environment to provide 5 star patient customer service at all times
- Applying evidence based medicine pertinent to obstetrical and gynecological medicine to improve outcomes
- Evaluating and treating gynecologic and obstetrics needs of our patients; pregnant and postpartum women including managing all aspects of prenatal visits
- Ordering, interpreting and incorporating diagnostic tests, studies, and lab results into the plan of care; evaluating effectiveness of the plan of care, and making adjustments as necessary.
- Formulating appropriate diagnosis based on patient history, physical examination and clinical findings and provides detailed documentation in a timely manner in EMR system.
- Prescribing pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies according to privileges.
- Emphasizing patient education through active participation and clear communication with patients to create a tailored health care experience.
- Documenting via Athena Health EMR system
- Practicing safe procedures and adheres to infection control and safety guidelines at all times.
- Assisting physician with hospital rounds as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- PA certification
- 2+ years experience in Women’s Health
LICENSURE and CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
- Valid Florida License
- BLS
- Privileges at AdventHealth in Central Florida (preferred)
