The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. What you will be doing
JOB DESCRIPTION YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 2+ years experience as orthopedic PA with both clinic and OR experience YEARS OF EXPERIENCE PREFERRED 2+ PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS Continuously stand/walk or lift/handle/carry material or equipment of moderate weight. Continuously stand/walk or lift/handle/carry material or equipment of moderate weight (20 to 50 lbs). ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS Indoor area with frequent exposure. Located in an indoor area with frequent exposure to mild physical discomfort from dust, fumes, temperature, and noise. Examples: patient care providers and laboratory technicians. HAZARDS OSHA OSHA Category 1.Tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, tissues, and other potentially infectious materials. POSITION & UNIT ACCOUNTABILITIES

Upholds HSS Professional/Clinical Standards – General (Communication).Initiates and maintains open, direct and effective documented and verbal communication with colleagues/medical staff and all members of the department as applicable. Responds to emails, and communications/ messages as soon as possible in a professional manner with compassion and understanding.
EDUCATION REQUIRED Bachelor’s. Graduate of CAAHEP accredited Physician Assistant Training Program. EDUCATION PREFERRED Master’s, Physician Assistant. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE REQUIRED Physician Assistant,Florida. BLS. Current Florida State registration. Infection Control Certificate must be current. Must have taken child abuse recognition course. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE PREFERRED Current NCCPA Certificate – 100 hours of continuing medical education must be logged every 2 years. Recertification Examination must be taken every 6-10 years and passed successfully. SKILLS REQUIRED Must possess strong clinical skills SKILLS PREFERRED
