Immediate opening for a full time Family Medicine Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Or Physician Assistant

Founded in 1988 and with five locations throughout South Florida, our practice is dedicated to supporting families and their physicians by delivering immediate medical attention to our patients. Offices are open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
Opportunity for a full-time Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to join our family practice and urgent care department in West Palm Beach, Florida. Primary responsibility in association with the attending D.O. or M.D., for the management of patients and participates in their clinical care as a member of an interdisciplinary team. Directs and develops new ways of management and treatment for such patients in collaboration with other team members. Supports and upholds the mission, vision, values, and guiding behaviors of Total MD.
Two years minimum of family practice and/or urgent care experience required.

Minimum Job Requirements/Knowledge:
- CPR: Healthcare Provider
- Current license, APRN or PA-C in Florida
- Knowledge of eClinical Works preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Acts as an active participant in the interdisciplinary team. This position promotes autonomy, whereas the APRN may develop, implement, evaluate, monitor, and manage the plan of care for their patients. Considers factors related to safety, effectiveness, and cost in planning and delivering patient care across departments, promoting optimal patient outcomes.
Contributes to the professional development of peers, colleagues, and others to improve patient outcomes. Accountable for maintaining current knowledge and skills in order to facilitate a high quality of clinical performance and to promote professional growth. Models professional, verbal and written, communication with the interdisciplinary team members involved in the ongoing management of patients to optimize patient outcomes. Responsible for coding and charting daily progress notes, coordinating clinical care, writes orders, monitors and performs other necessary procedures consistent with APRN education and experience within the framework of an established protocol.
