Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our urgent care. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to patients, in diagnosing and treating various health conditions. This position requires ER / Urgent Care experience, a strong understanding of clinical practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assess patient health status.
• Administer injections and perform treatments as needed.
• Utilize medical imaging techniques for diagnostic evaluation.
• Provide critical care and emergency medicine support in urgent situations.
• Assist in the management of patients undergoing specialized treatments.
• Document patient histories, symptoms, and treatment plans accurately using ICD-9 coding.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive care measures.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical practices and advancements in the field.

ExperienceCandidates should possess the following experience and skills:

• Proven experience in a clinical setting.
• Familiarity with ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation.
• Knowledge of medical imaging techniques for diagnostic purposes.
• Experience in critical care settings or emergency medicine is required.
• Ability to perform physical examinations effectively.
• Proficient in conducting diagnostic evaluations to inform treatment decisions.

Pay: $70.00 – $80.00 per hour
