Job Description: Pioneer Health Critical Care is seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) to join our dynamic Critical Care Unit team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge healthcare organization and make a meaningful impact on patient care.

Position Overview: As an APRN or PA in our Critical Care Unit, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care during night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with a 7 on 7 off schedule for full-time candidates. Part-time positions are also available. The role requires collaboration with colleagues to ensure continuous coverage and optimal patient outcomes. You will be responsible for managing a diverse range of critical care cases and utilizing your expertise to perform various procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level patient care and support in the Critical Care Unit.
  • Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals, hospital staff and leadership to ensure seamless coverage and comprehensive patient management.
  • Perform advanced procedures such as chest tubes, thoracentesis, needle thoracostomy, intubation, extubation, lines and more.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in managing critical care cases, drawing upon your previous experience in ICU settings.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) license in the state of Florida.
  • Minimum of 1+ year of experience as an APRN or PA in a hospital setting.
  • Previous ICU experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Provider is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional clinical skills and ability to perform advanced medical procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.

Training and Compensation: The position offers a competitive base salary with the opportunity for a productivity bonus based on encounter volume. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, sign-on/relocation, and malpractice and full credentialing costs.

Serving the communities of Pinellas and Pasco counties, our network includes a newly expanded emergency department and an off‑site ER in Palm Harbor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $145,000.00 – $160,000.00 per week
