Pioneer Health is seeking an experienced and dedicated Pulmonary Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our dynamic inpatient team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading healthcare organization committed to providing exceptional pulmonary care.
Position Overview:
As a Pulmonary APP at AdventHealth Tampa, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality inpatient pulmonary care. This full-time position follows a Monday-Friday schedule with 8-hour shifts, providing consistency and work-life balance. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes, manage a diverse range of pulmonary conditions, and contribute to the advancement of pulmonary medicine.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level inpatient pulmonary care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of pulmonary conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
- Perform procedures as appropriate for pulmonary care and in accordance with scope of practice.
- Educate patients and families on disease management and treatment plans.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to hospital policies and clinical guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Valid Advanced Practice Provider (APP) license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience as an APP in a hospital setting (no new graduates).
- Prior experience in pulmonary, ICU, or inpatient medicine is strongly preferred.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage complex pulmonary cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused approach.
