OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in cardiology and internal medicine, with the ability to provide comprehensive care to patients with cardiovascular conditions. As a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner/PA, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients while collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including obtaining medical histories and performing physical examinations.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies related to cardiovascular health.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with cardiac conditions.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and response to treatment, adjusting care as necessary.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding cardiovascular health, disease prevention, and management strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize telehealth technologies for remote patient consultations when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification as a Nurse Practitioner/PA.
• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner with a focus on cardiology or relevant specialty.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, internal medicine, infection control practices, and vital signs monitoring.
• Experience or familiarity with sonography techniques is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in cardiology practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
