Full Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Managing volume caseload and associate attorneys
- Preparing pleadings, including lawsuits, reviewing and signing pleadings
- Negotiating settlements
- Attending hearings, taking depositions and preparing discovery
- Meeting with and advising clients
- Added benefit having a book of business or record of generating business
Requirements:
- Member in good standing of the Florida Bar
- 3-5 years of litigation experience (preferably in the collection and replevin fields). Experience attending hearings, taking depositions and conducting trials.
- Experience managing staff
- Great work ethic and commitment to professionalism
- Client focused
- Active in professional organizations
Must-haves
- Florida Bar membership
- Ability to work well with others
