Our thriving Orthopedic Surgery practice clinics are located throughout northern Florida. We are hiring full-time permanent Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants who specialize in orthopedics and Total Joint Reconstruction.
Schedule: Full time Mon-Fri No Weekends
Position Overview:
The Orthopedic Surgery APP will assist the Orthopedic Physician total joint reconstruction specialist in the patients’ complete orthopedic medical diagnosis, pre-op, First Assist in Surgery and post-surgical treatment.
- Making rounds and performing patient exams
- Diagnosing illnesses
- Assisting in surgery
- Ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and X-rays
- Prescribing medications
- Developing and managing treatment plans
- Advising patients on preventative care and optimal health practices
The Orthopedic NP or PA-C will be assisting a team of orthopedic professionals in all aspects of clinical care and procedures
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Three years Orthopedic surgical or non-surgical experience
- Master’s Degree in Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant studies
- Current DEA & CDS licensure, in good standing with no restrictions
- Certification through NCCPA
