Full Job Description
We are seeking a Physician Assistant Or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing private practice offices in Saint Augustine and Palm Coast, Florida. In this role, you will work collaboratively with our neurologist to provide specialized care for patients with complex disorders of the nervous system, including epilepsy, movement disorders, and memory disorders.
Seeking an individual with experience in Neurology specialty healthcare services. There is NO on-call, weekends, nights, or hospital work – All services will be clinic visits Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Assessments: Conduct comprehensive neurological examinations, including testing mental status, cranial nerves, motor/sensory function, and reflexes.
- Diagnostics: Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as MRIs, CT scans, EEGs, EMGs, lab results, and lumbar punctures.
- Treatment Management: Develop and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications, and manage patient responses to therapies.
- Procedures: Perform or assist with specialized procedures like botox injections for migraines.
- Patient Education: Explain complex conditions (e.g., epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s) and treatment options to patients and their families.
Must have working knowledge of the following conditions:
- Movement Disorders: Parkinson’s disease and essential tremors.
- Seizure Disorders: Epilepsy.
- Headaches: Chronic migraines and trigeminal neuralgia.
- Vascular/Autoimmune: Stroke, multiple sclerosis, and neuropathies
- Memory Disorders: Mild Cognitive Impairment, Dementia, Alzheimer’s
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Active and unrestricted Florida License as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
- Certification: National certification (NCCPA for PAs; ANCC/AANP for NPs) and current DEA registration.
- Education: Master’s degree from an accredited PA or Nursing program.
- Experience: 1–2 years of neurology or neurosurgery experience is preferred, though highly motivated new graduates with strong clinical rotations may be considered.
- Skills: Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and strong diagnostic reasoning
Salary Range: Based on Neurology experience and negotiable.

Location: Palm Coast and St. Augustine – Both locations are easily accessible within 1 mile of I-95
