Full Job Description

OverviewMulti-Specialty Group of Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeons seek to add another Physician Assistant to their team. The position includes both the OR (2/3) and the clinic (1/3).

Responsibilities

  • Physician Assistant will provide surgical first assist
  • Casting and pins
  • Post-op follow-up
  • Fracture care
  • Injections
  • Rounds, scripts
  • Consultation and patient evaluation and education
  • Reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting.
  • There will be some rotation within an Orthopedic Urgent Care.

Qualifications

  • Successful Physician Assistants should be NCCPA-Certified.
  • Experienced orthopedic Physician Assistants are preferred but will train a new graduate with an orthopedic rotation.

The location is within the Port St. Lucie region, which is in a very desirable and upscale town on the coast of Florida. The area offers outdoor activities all year round, solid school systems, and a great place to raise a family. Compensation: Open (depends on experience). Additionally, there is a full benefits package provided.
