Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. This position requires a strong foundation in medical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform various clinical tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients.
  • Utilize eClinicalWorks systems for accurate documentation of patient information and treatment progress.
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding health management, preventive care, and treatment options.
  • Participate in public health initiatives and community outreach programs as needed.
  • Assist in the management of pain for patients, employing evidence-based practices.
  • Stay current with advancements in medical imaging techniques relevant to patient diagnosis.

Qualifications

  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Proficiency in medical imaging techniques is a plus.
  • Strong skills in patient assessment and diagnostic evaluation are essential.
  • Knowledge of public health principles is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Bilingual English and Creole preferred.

Pay: $60.00 – $70.00 per hour
