Part-Time Physician Assistant (PA) – Interventional Pain Management

Ponte Vedra Spine & Pain Center is a physician-owned, highly regarded interventional pain practice seeking a part-time Physician Assistant to support continued clinic growth.

This role is designed for an experienced PA who values clinical quality, efficiency, and physician collaboration, and who is seeking a flexible schedule in a well-run, reputation-driven practice.

Position Overview

  • Part-time: 1 clinic day per week to start
  • Clear opportunity to expand clinic days as patient volume grows
  • Focus on evaluations, follow-ups, documentation, and care coordination
  • Limited office-based injections as appropriate and within scope
  • A portion of the patient population includes Workers’ Compensation and Auto Injury cases
  • Patients are introduced to the PA as part of a physician-led care team, with ongoing physician involvement

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform focused histories and physical exams
  • Manage follow-up visits and treatment planning
  • Document visits accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinate imaging, conservative care, and referrals
  • Support medical necessity documentation for Workers’ Compensation and Auto Injury cases
  • Communicate professionally with patients and staff
  • Maintain high clinical and documentation standards consistent with a respected practice

Ideal Candidate

  • Licensed Physician Assistant in the state of Florida
  • Experience in pain management, orthopedics, PM&R, or WC/Auto injury strongly preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
  • Efficient, organized, and comfortable working independently
  • Professional demeanor aligned with a reputation-driven practice
  • Not a high-volume or production-churn mentality

This role does not involve call, weekends, or hospital rounding.

Compensation

  • $75–90/hour, commensurate with experience
  • Performance-based bonus or percentage of collections negotiable
  • Flexible, predictable schedule

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $90.00 – $100.00 per hour
