Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) / Physician Assistant (PA) Location: New Port Richey, FL 34654 Contract Duration: 8 Weeks Schedule:
- Mon, Tue, Wed: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Thu, Fri: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation (Local): $90 – $95 per hour Weekly Travel Rate: Up to $3,683.50 per week
Position Overview: “Navitas Healthcare, LLC” is seeking Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) / Physician Assistant (PA) for an exciting job in New Port Richey, FL. Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care, including wellness exams, chronic care management, and urgent visits
- Conduct patient assessments, physical exams, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and manage follow-up care
- See walk-in patients and handle a diverse range of medical needs
- Document encounters using Athena EMR (experience required)
- Perform DOT physicals and treat Workers’ Compensation injuries (DOT certification required)
- Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
Qualifications:
- Active FNP or PA license
- Recent hands-on family medicine experience
- Comfortable treating patients ages 2+
- DOT certification required
- Experience with Workers’ Compensation cases
- Proficient with Athena EMR
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient care skills
