Job Summary: The APRN or PA provides clinical care as an advanced practice provider under the general supervision of the Medical Director and within a team model of care. Preferred Family, APRN or PA delivers a broad range of medical services and practices primary care to underserved adults. APRN or PA conducts physical exams, diagnoses and treats illnesses, orders and interprets tests, counsels on preventive health, performs minor procedures, and prescribes medications, under the scope of practice allowed by Professional Board and the appropriate Florida statutes and federal regulations. The Medical Director serves as the supervising physician and is available for consultation and referrals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care services to patients to adult patients. Will be working for single MD on a team with several APRN.

  • Evaluate patients and treat health conditions
  • Complete documentation in a timely manner
  • Assist supervising provider with completion of tasks
  • Ensure tasks, labs, medications and diagnostics have been reviewed and addressed as needed
  • experience with Medicare / Medicaid Geatric chronic health condition setting

Job Qualifications:

  • Licensed ARNP or Physician Assistant with the State of Florida
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong computer proficiency
  • Ability to plan ahead, organize, and manage multiple priorities
  • Bilingual English / Haitien Creole / Spanish
  • Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients presenting with acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Provide preventive care, health maintenance, and health education to patients
  • Utilize electronic health records (EHR) Emedical Practice for documentation and communication
  • Expierence with Medicare and Medicaid documentation requirements
  • Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose the medical condition of patients.
  • Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted ARNP – PA license in State of Florida
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast pace, team-based environment

Pay: $80,000.00 – $105,000.00 per year
