Full Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our medical team. You will provide GYN Oncology services to patients, diagnose and treat various medical conditions, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients and contribute to their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

– Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments

– Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses

– Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work, imaging studies, and biopies.

– Prescribe medications and provide appropriate treatments

– Perform minor procedures, including biopsie, suturing and wound care

– Educate patients on disease prevention, health promotion, and management of chronic conditions

– Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop treatment plans

– Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations

– Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages

-Keep hospital privileges and round on patients and perform consults and there is an opportunity for surgical assistance

Skills:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

– Strong knowledge of primary care/GYN principles and practices

– Proficiency in internal medicine concepts and procedures

– In-depth understanding of human anatomy and physiology

– Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret test results

– experience with GYN procedures

– Familiarity with ICD-10 coding system for accurate documentation

– Proficient in suturing techniques for wound closure

– Thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations for patient privacy protection

– Comfortable working in a fast-paced medical office environment

Qualifications:

– Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Florida

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
