Job highlights

Responsibilities
- Functions as a Surgical First Assistant in the Operating Room
- Positions and drapes the patient under the direction of the surgeon
- Suturing and retracting of all tissue layers
- Assists in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing technical duties as assigned
- Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations.
Job description Location: Kendall, FL
Miami Institute for Joint reconstruction is a private practice comprised of multiple orthopedic surgeons. The candidate would join 2 other physician assistants and work closely with 3 orthopedic surgeons. This position provides competitive salary based on experience and allows for great work-life balance. Each week on average will entail of approximately 40hrs of work. There is no trauma call. The 3 Physician assistants will share call duties of any phone call.
