Full Job Description

Brand new state-of-the-art medical spa in the heart of Brickell is seeking a talented Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Advanced skills in performing injectables and experience performing laser and other non-invasive aesthetic services are required. You will be the clinical leader for our team and provide the necessary oversight in conjunction with and under the supervision of our medical director.

Job Summary: Daily responsibilities include performing non-surgical cosmetic treatments including injectables (neurotoxins and dermal fillers), laser and radio frequency treatments, and other non-surgical aesthetic treatments. Provide requisite on-site supervision of other providers and services, under the direction of a physician medical director to ensure all providers adhere to established standard operating procedures and medical protocols in the performance of aesthetic treatments.

Essential Functions:

  • Have a thorough working knowledge of all medical protocols, standard operating procedures, and policies that pertain to your department.
  • Ensure that all clients receive exceptional service and have a comfortable and pleasant experience.
  • Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the quality of service and care offered to clients.
  • Conduct good faith examinations for clients as required during a consultation for treatment.
  • Educate clients about appropriate treatment options, pre- and post-care, and contraindications.
  • Review all new client intake forms, document client treatments and plans of care, and other records.
  • Continually work on your personal sales skills to identify the additional needs of each client and create long-term treatment plans to help them achieve their aesthetic goals.
  • Safely operate all equipment and ensure all staff does so. Attend all in-house training programs.
  • Seek additional training to enhance clinical skills and be able to provide advanced services and treatments as they evolve.
  • Continuing education in your field or a related field is highly recommended and considered an essential element in the evaluation of your professional knowledge.

Education/Training:

  • Degree: Two-year college degree or higher
  • Experience: Minimum three years prior related experience required
  • Certification/Licenses: Certification from an approved school and an active state license.
