Full Job Description
OverviewI am seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant who is trained or seeks additional training in general surgery, hand surgery ( fractures and tendon/nerve repairs) plastic and cosmetic surgery to work with me. You will need credentialing at a few facilities such as Mt Sinai medical Center, HCA Mercy Hospital and HCA Aventura Hospital. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical care to patients across various settings, including outpatient and inpatient environments. The Physician Assistant will work with one physician (me) and obtain hands on training and experience.
Duties
***Must speak Spanish and English
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions under the supervision of a physician.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Provide patient education on health management, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
- Assist in outpatient clinics as well as inpatient settings, ensuring continuity of care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with coding standards.
Experience
- A degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program is required.
- Proficiency in medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
- Experience in acute care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of esthetic laser treatment, botox, HA fillers and other techniques is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
