Goldson Spine Rehabilitation Center (GSRC) is a multi-disciplinary practice that has been in business for over 30 years. Our services include chiropractic, physical therapy, and psychotherapy with five locations across the southeastern region of Florida. We operate under the mission“To provide the most courteous and effective care and increase the well-being of every person who walks through our door”.The company is seeking a part-time Certified Chiropractic Physician Assistant (CCPA) who will support our chiropractors and manage patient flow.
Responsibilities:
l Abides by HIPAA laws regarding the sharing of personal medical information
l Participate in various patient education/marketing events to promote the office.
l Assessing patients’ medical conditions.
l Listening to the patient’s concerns.
l Reviewing medical records.
l Perform physical examinations, analyzing patients’ postures, spines, and reflexes.
l Providing neuromusculoskeletal therapy.
l Providing physiotherapy treatments, such as ultrasound, heat, E-Stim, cold, and other modalities to assist in patients’ healing and recovery.
l Reviewing and keeping accurate, thorough patient records.
l Advising patients on health, lifestyle, and wellness issues, such as exercise, nutrition, and sleep habits.
l Accurately input treatment charges into ChiroTouch
l Complete and sign daily notes.
l Scribe SOAP notes information in ChiroTouch.
l Inform doctor of any new developments involving the patient.
l Consult and communicate with supervising physicians concerning daily patient progress.
l Open to cross-train in other areas of the company.
Attend annual organizational trainings and events both in-person and virtually in South Florida.
Qualifications:– Medical office experience- Proficient in patient care and assessment- Knowledge of physiology and medical terminology- Experience with HIPAA regulations- Strong communication skills for patient interactions- Understanding of CPT coding and clinical research practices
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
