Full Job Description
Lookin for Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Endocrinology practice in Lauderdale Lakes. The practitioner will be responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate, and comprehensive health care to patients. Working independently or in collaboration with a supervising physician, the NP performs assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care in accordance with state and federal regulations and within the scope of advanced nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history-taking and physical exams.
- Diagnose acute and chronic conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Develop and implement appropriate care plans.
- Evaluates current protocols and standards of care for translation of best practice into clinical practice. Supports the development of evidence-based practice protocols and standards of care that include interventions and treatments to achieve desired outcomes.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., lab work, imaging).
- Provide health education and counseling to a Endocrinologist practice patients care on disease prevention, wellness, and lifestyle management.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in the EMR Athena system.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all company and state-specific healthcare regulations.
- Identifies ethical care issues and coordinates interdisciplinary collaborative meetings to resolve those issues.
- Collaborate effectively with practice physician, office manager, supporting staff and other care teams.
- Stay current with continuing education and licensing requirements.
Qualifications
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP)/Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA)) with active Florida License
- With Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience as a NP/APRN/PA with preferably Endocrinology patient care setting
- Bilingual Fluency (English and Spanish) a must
- It has no sanctions or is restricted from being enrolled with any payor.

Working Conditions
- Employee must be able to lift and transport mail bins and packages (up to 25 lbs.).
Schedule
- Monday to Friday / Rotating shifts: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Practice location assigned based on position availability
- Occasional weekends as needed based on business needs.
Job Type: Full-time
