Full Job Description
OCHS operates several Community Health Centers throughout Osceola County that are accredited by The Joint Commission for Ambulatory Care and Primary Care Medical Home.
**Part-time is also an option**
This is a highly responsible, professional medical position, which is responsible for performing clinical practice duties in a comprehensive health care environment and under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO). Complies with organization, Joint Commission or other accreditation standards. Privacy and security regulations (HIPAA) must be adhered to at all times. Duties include, but not limited to the following:
Diagnose, treat and refer adult and children who are enrolled in primary care and/ or preventative health programs. This may include, but is not limited to, history, physical examination, ordering and interpreting laboratory analysis, dispensing medication, initiating case management conferences with professional staff, out of clinic referrals and/or requesting medical consultations with other consultants.
Monitor Medical Assistants as required under Florida Law assuring that patient care is being provided to all patients. Participates in peer review and quality management meetings. Complies with Corporate Compliance and Risk Management program requirements.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
