Full Job Description
We are a growing internal medicine primary care office seeking a Bilingual Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team on a 1099 contractor basis. This is a part-time position, offering flexibility with a commitment to working 3 days per week. We are looking for someone who is fluent in English and Spanish, able to provide high-quality care to our diverse patient population, and collaborate with our experienced medical team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments, take medical histories, and perform physical exams.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results.
- Provide patient education on preventive care, health maintenance, and lifestyle changes.
- Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records.
- Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients, ensuring clarity and understanding of their healthcare needs.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP).
- Valid state licensure and DEA certification.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
- Ability to work independently and manage patient care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
