Job Summary:
Kasraeian Urology, a division of Florida Physician Specialists, LLC, is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our team. This position offers a full time 4-day workweek with 10 hour shifts on weekdays and no inpatient rounding! The Physician Assistant will provide medical treatment under the supervision of physicians, conducting patient examinations, follow-ups, and developing treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary physician extender, assisting in the delivery of patient care.
- Conduct thorough patient examinations and follow-up assessments.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Counsel patients on their health conditions and treatment options.
- Prescribe medications as appropriate within the scope of practice.
- Provide care for complex surgical patients both pre and post-operatively.
- Document patient care accurately and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a Graduate from a Physician Assistant program approved by the council of Medical Education of the American Medical Association and maintain certification by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants.
- Current Basic Life Support certification (BLS).
- Valid Physician Assistant Licensure by the State of Florida.
- 1-2 years previous experience in urology preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
