Full Job Description
An established dermatology practice in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their team. This is a full-time position. Mainly medical/surgical dermatology and some cosmetics. One year of dermatology experience as an APP is required. Candidates without dermatology experience will not be contacted.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient dermatology services
- Perform in-office surgical procedures
- Treat 30+ patients/day
- Comfortable working autonomously
- Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations
- Provide counsel and medical treatment to patients
- Educate patients on overall wellness and health maintenance
- Develop and implement patient management plans
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Qualifications:
- Active FL State License or ability to obtain one
- 1+ years of dermatology experience required
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
