Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care in basic primary care.. The role involves performing physical examinations, diagnostic evaluations , and patient assessments. Documentation Experience with kareo/tebra(EHR) systems is preferred. (tebra is the most user friendly EHR on the market, with a learning curb of about 1 day)The Physician Assistant will have the collaboration of the Medical assistant (she does the vitals,pt history)This position involves mainly physical exams and a few basic clinic visits. Our patient volume is very low and the environment is super friendly.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient history and physical examinations
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Prescribe medications in accordance with Florida law and clinic protocols
- Perform minor in-office procedures as credentialed
- Deliver preventive care, health education, and patient counseling
- Document all patient encounters accurately in the EMR system
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and clinic policies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Support clinic growth by maintaining excellent patient satisfaction
Optional / Clinic-Specific Duties (If Applicable)
- Primary care visits (sick visits, annual physicals, follow-ups)
- Women’s health services (Pap smears, routine gynecologic care – if credentialed)
- Weight management and wellness services
- Aesthetic or wellness treatments (training provided if applicable)
- Telemedicine visits
- Support referrals and care coordination
Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program
- Active Florida PA license in good standing
- NCCPA certification (PA-C)
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with supervising physician
- Excellent documentation and EMR skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Pay: $50.00 – $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 per week
Work Location: In person
