Full Job Description
We are currently searching for a Full-Time, motivated Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for a busy Family Medicine clinic. Strong candidates will be responsible for practicing medicine under the guidance and supervision of physicians with the ability to take command of situations with physicians’ guidance. Examines patients, diagnoses diseases, determines treatments, and prescribes medication. - Obtains patient history and performs assessment via observation, interview and examination. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic studies. Performs preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and patient care.

- Performing physical examinations
- Ordering and performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Formulating a diagnostic impression
- Developing and implementing a treatment plan
- Monitoring effectiveness of medical interventions
- Offering counseling and education to meet patient needs
- Making appropriate referrals
- Prescribing and dispensing prescription medication in accordance with FL state laws and department policies
- Demonstrates ability to assess data reflective of patient’s status and appropriately interprets information relative to patient’s age-specific needs.
Required Credential(s):
*BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works.
Qualifications:
- Active ARNP/PA License in the FL State
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Experience with Primary Care and Pediatrics – preferred
- Knowledge of Medical systems, protocols, and terminology – preferred
- Adaptable to fast paced environments, with large volumes of Patient seen daily
- Able to work extended hours
- Able to work in various locations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge and skills
- Required – Diagnose, treat, or prescribe medications
- 1-3 years Experience
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $110,000.00 – $145,000.00 per year
