Physician Assistant
Fort Myers and South Punta Gorda
Join a busy, thriving Urology Practice.
What you’ll do:
- Work in conjunction with the Urologists, Management and clinical staff to provide exceptional care to our patients
- Perform and document comprehensive health history and physical examinations, diagnose, and treat within scope of practice
- Provide information, education, and support to patients/families regarding disease process and treatment plan
- Prescribe medications and other treatments; assess response
- Perform procedures within scope of practice
- Initiates referrals to other healthcare providers as appropriate
- Updates practice through continuing education
Who you are:
- Holds a current license and is in good standing
- Maintains certification in accordance with Department of Regulations
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Good diagnostic capabilities
- Graduate of an approved program or its equivalent
- Meets the standards set by the Board of Medicine
