Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our orthopedic surgery team. The ideal candidate will be confident working both in clinical setting and the operating room, with strong skills in patient evaluation, perioperative management, and post-operative care.
Responsibilities:
- First assist in orthopedic surgical procedures, including spine and extremity surgeries.
- Conduct pre-operative and post-operative evaluations.
- Perform patient assessments, joint injections, wound care, and splint/cast applications when needed.
- Provide clinical support in outpatient clinical settings, including follow-ups and new patient evaluations.
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR.
- Willing to travel to other office locations.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current NCCPA certification.
- Active state medical license.
- Prior orthopedic or surgical experience is a plus. However, new graduates with strong surgical/pain management interest are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent clinical judgment, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Bilingual/Spanish is a strong plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
