Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)Location: Bradenton, FloridaCompensation: Starting at $75.00 per hour
Available Positions:
- Day Shift: 7 on, 7 off (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
- Night Shift: 10 shifts per month (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic critical care healthcare team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, conducting assessments, and implementing treatment plans in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical histories.
- Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans.
- Provide patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab work.
- Document all patient interactions and treatment plans in the electronic medical record (EMR) system (Cerner).
- Perform basic procedures as needed, such as suturing, intubation, and central line placement (depending on specialty and training).
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
Qualifications:
- Active NP or PA license in the state of practice.
- Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (specific requirements may vary by position).
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using EMR systems.
