Medical AssistantLocations: Fort Myers & Miami, FLSchedule: Monday to Friday (Minimum 2 in-clinic days/week, travel required)

Our company is high-integrity orthopedic and personal injury clinic with offices in Fort Myers and Miami. We specialize in comprehensive patient care, surgical coordination, and legal documentation to support injury recovery. We are seeking a dependable and motivated Medical Assistant to join our team and assist our providers and case managers in delivering efficient, compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome, room, and triage patients: record vitals, confirm visit purpose, and document in EMR (IKON)
- Assist with minor in-office procedures, including injections, wound care, and orthopedic bracing
- Manage patient check-in/check-out and ensure all intake and consent forms are completed
- Coordinate surgical prep: complete patient questionnaires, send MRI referrals, and upload medical records
- Communicate with attorneys regarding patient treatment plans and approvals
- Complete documentation and quality assurance (QA) of charts within 24 hours
- Maintain infection control standards and ensure exam rooms are clean and fully stocked
- Travel between Fort Myers and Miami locations as needed (travel required)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Certified Medical Assistant (preferred)
- 1–3 years of clinical or orthopedic experience
- Proficient in EMRs (IKON or similar systems)
- CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (strongly preferred)
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between clinic sites
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
Schedule & Location
- Monday to Friday availability required
- Hybrid: Remote work with a minimum of 2 in-person clinical days per week
- On-site presence required in both Fort Myers and Miami (travel is mandatory)

Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour
