Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Rheumatology – New Grads Welcomed!

We are seeking a Full-Time licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established Rheumatology care center in Naples, FL locations. Patient care Monday – Thursday 8:30-5:00pm and Friday 8:30am – 12:00pm.

Our AARA care center has 2 Physicians, a dedicated team, and a state-of-the-art Infusion Suite. Our mission is patient-centered and strives to provide state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment to patients affected by a broad range of rheumatologic conditions such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Psoriatic Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Lupus, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Examine patients and their medical records
  • Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
  • Diagnose and Propose treatments for autoimmune and arthritic diseases
  • Prescribe medications and IV Infusion Treatments
  • Maintain accurate records and schedules
  • Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
  • Educate patients and their family members on diseases and treatment plans
  • Oversee patients’ overall health and promote good health practices
  • Supervise infusion suite when physician is not on-site
  • Advance professional knowledge and conduct research
  • Other duties as assigned by collaborating physician

Requirements:

  • New grads or experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Rheumatology, Dermatology, Orthopedics, Internal Medicine are welcome to apply
  • Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish and English a plus
  • During training: Travel to Merritt Island and Titusville offices 50% of time.
  • Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Strong ethics, integrity, and reliable
  • Team player with a positive attitude, patience and optimism
  • Exhibits curiosity and a willingness to learn
  • Valid Florida Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license

Pay: $100,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
