About the student
- adult student
- The student needs to work with a tutor for assistance with preparing for the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE).
- The student needs help to strengthen her medical knowledge, clinical reasoning, and test-taking skills needed to succeed on the exam. Tutoring can include review of core subjects such as internal medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, emergency medicine, surgery, women’s health, psychiatry, pharmacology, diagnostics, and patient management. The tutor can also help the student improve her understanding of clinical scenarios, differential diagnoses, laboratory interpretation, and evidence-based treatment plans while building confidence through practice questions, study strategies, and timed exam preparation for the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination.
- The student’s goal is to pass the exam by September 1st.
- The student is asking for 4 hours of tutoring a week. She wants 2 hour sessions 2 times a week but is flexible about how the hours are broken up. She is available from 10am-6pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday.
- The student is seeking a tutor who can meet at her home in Jupiter in-between the Jupiter County Club Pool and the Reese Blvd Nature Preserve.
Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE)
The Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE) is a $550, 300-question, computer-based test required for initial licensure and certification (PA-C) in the U.S.. Administered by the NCCPA, it evaluates medical/surgical knowledge, with roughly 92–95% of first-time takers passing annually. The exam consists of five 60-minute blocks.
Format: 300 multiple-choice questions over 5 hours, with 45 minutes of break time and a 15-minute tutorial.
Content: Covers organ systems and key diseases/disorders, including medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic testing.
Qualifications
- Ideal candidates have prior experience working with adults.
- Ideal candidates will have prior experience taking the PANCE.
- Ideal candidates will have a strong medical background.
- Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles)
- Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor.
Availability
MON, TUE, WED & SUN: 10:00am-6:00pm

- $27.00-$30.00+ per hour
