Full Job Description
Premier Cardiology practice on the Treasure Coast of Florida (Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie and Vero Beach), and is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant to join our energetic team of medical professionals. This is a thriving practice with a loyal, established and growing patient panel. The practice has maintained a unique commitment to the highest quality of care by consistently prioritizing personalized patient-doctor relationships. Scheduling is focused on delivering high value care through a combination of smaller volume of visits, longer visit times and timely appointment availability in office.
The selected candidate will perform independent clinical evaluations and problem assessments, initiate diagnostic and treatment plans, educate patients, and coordinate clinical decisions and referrals with physicians in the practice as well as specialty practices.
Successful applicant must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program and hold licensure for the area. Requirements include:
· A license in FL
· Must be a graduate of accredited Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program
· Excellent communication skills, including in-person, phone, email/electronic messaging, and written letters
· A record as a team player in prior work experience
· A caring personality
Experience in cardiology is a plus.
