Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate physician assistant to join our healthcare team, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient-centered care across diverse clinical settings. Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories using advanced EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as Optimantra.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions across multiple specialties including internal medicine, geriatrics.
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, IV infusion and adherence to sterile techniques.
  • Manage medication administration and injections while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and medical documentation standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, utilization review, and telehealth services to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Provide patient education on disease management, nutrition, family planning, hospice & palliative medicine, and health coaching tailored to individual needs.
  • Assist in diagnostic evaluations using laboratory experience including specimen collection/processing and medical imaging techniques
  • Engage in clinical research initiatives or quality improvement projects to advance evidence-based practices within the organization.

Requirements

  • Valid PA license with current certification to practice independently in the state of employment.
  • Proven experience working with diverse patient populations including seniors (geriatrics).
  • Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner or Optimantra; familiarity with CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-10/ICD-9 coding for diagnoses; and experience with medical documentation standards.
  • Critical care experience preferred— along with acute care or emergency room background to handle high-pressure situations confidently.
  • Skills in performing complex procedures including , phlebotomy, venipuncture, sterile processing techniques and airway management.
  • Knowledge of infectious disease care protocols; experience managing patients on ventilators or dialysis; familiarity with occupational health standards; and competence in telehealth delivery models.
  • Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy knowledge; ability to perform physical examinations; conduct diagnostic evaluations; interpret laboratory results; and utilize medical imaging tools effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for patient assessment discussions; team collaboration; teaching hospital or clinic experience is advantageous. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
