Pay Rate Low: 33 | Pay Rate High: 45 A non-profit organization that specializes in blood donation for hospitals is seeking a couple Medical Technologists to join their growing team. This is an amazing opportunity to join a team that offers reimbursement for professional licenses, educational assistance, student loan repayment program and so much more. 3rd shift and weekend shift available! Schedules Available:
- 3rd shift: 11p-7a, 5 days a week to include rotating weekends and holidays
- Weekend: 11a-9p Friday-Monday
Location: Ft. Lauderdale, FL Pay: DOE
- 1 year: $30.80/hr
- 2-3 years: $33/hr
- 4-6 years: $35/hr
- 7+ years: $37/hr
+$3.50/hr for hours worked during second shift +$8/hr for weekends Responsibilities:
- Accept, verify, and process incoming blood samples
- Performs various testing procedures on donor and patient specimens
- Keep documentation
- Performs essential functions of the lab technician and lab assistant as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related life science
- 1 year of experience as a Medical Technologist
Valid and current Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license in Immunohematology or Blood Banking
