Kiran Therapy and Wellness is a small business of integrative medicine associates in Fort Lauderdale, we are professional, supportive, and customer-centric. We provide acupuncture, massage therapy, sports therapy, post-op surgery services, mobile blood draw and lab services, holistic nutrition, and coaching services.

This position is independent self-contracted (IRS-1099) for mobile services only. You will be working a flexible schedule going to patient’s residence to provide acupuncture and herbal consultations based on your set availability. Only when an appointment is booked and service is completed, you will be paid directly the day of service. On average, you will be paid $60 per client session, excluding tips and upgrades for other services. May earn more money to cover travel expenses to West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami based on your location. Kiran Therapy, LLC will serve as the booking service and medical records holder.

Requirements:

– Must be a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of Florida and Board Certified by the NCCAOM (NCBAHM).

– Must have your own vehicle and valid drivers licensed, willing to cover Palm Beach County, Broward County, and Miami-Dade County.

– Must have proof of liabilty insurance.

– Must be a Permanent Resident or U.S. Citizen and proficient in English. (Bilingual is a plus)

– Must have your own needles, portable treatment table, sanitary items, and other related tools for acupuncture.

– Must have relable communication and respond promtly to potential appointments by the company. (We will communicate based on YOUR FLEXIBILY HOURS)

– Must be able to complete your own intake/SOAP notes each session and maintain your own Electronic Medical Records systems.

– Must be able to pass a background check, maintain your licensed, and related certifications.

– Must be able to recommend herbs and interperate blood lab results.

– Must be able to sign a NON-COMPETE AGREEMENT.

Responsibilities:

– Perform acupuncture treatments on patients following established protocols and procedures.

– Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.

– Administer acupuncture therapy using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.

– Provide patient education on acupuncture and holistic health practices.

– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

– Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Experience:

– Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Acupuncturist is a plus.

– Proficient in performing physical examinations and assessing patient conditions.

– In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pain management techniques.

– Experience in treating patients of all ages, including pediatrics.

– Familiarity with sports theray, hospice care, elderly, pediatrics, uro/gynological disorders, and pregnancy.

Skills:

– Excellent patient care skills, with the ability to establish rapport and provide compassionate treatment.

– Strong understanding of aseptic techniques to ensure a safe treatment environment.

– Proficient in conducting physical examinations and assessing patient conditions.

– Knowledge of acupuncture points and meridians, as well as their application in treating various health conditions.

– Ability to develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs.

– Effective communication skills to educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and holistic health practices.
