Job Description:
As a Server, you are the face of our restaurant. Your role is to ensure guests feel welcomed, well taken care of, and informed about our menu. A strong knowledge of sushi, sake, and Japanese cuisine is helpful — but we’re happy to train the right person with a great attitude and strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming dining experience
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Answer questions about menu items, specials, and ingredients
- Serve food and drinks with attention to presentation and timing
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to needs promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen and other staff for smooth service
- Handle payments and operate POS system
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server is preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of Japanese cuisine/sushi is a plus
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol (if applicable)
- Flexible availability, including nights and weekends
