Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Occupational and Primary Care
Location: Stratford, CT
Job Type: Full-Time Contract (34 weeks)
Overview: We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a dedicated healthcare team delivering high-quality care to employees at a large aerospace manufacturing organization in Stratford, CT. This is a contract assignment running from July 14, 2025, through March 1, 2026.
Schedule:

Monday – Friday
-
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute meal break)

Hours may vary based on site needs and provider availability
-
Approximately one day per week (Wednesdays) at a nearby partner location (within ~16 miles)
Setting:
-
Occupational Health and Primary Care services for adult patients
-
Average of 8–10 patient visits per day
Key Responsibilities:
-
Evaluate, diagnose and treat work-related injuries and general health concerns

Conduct medical exams, preventive screenings and health assessments

Collaborate with onsite clinicians and corporate health leadership to promote employee wellness

Document all patient encounters accurately within the electronic medical record system (EPIC)
Qualifications:
-
Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Connecticut
-
National Board Certification as an NP or PA
-
BLS Certification (current)
-
At least 1–2 years of clinical experience in occupational health, urgent care, family medicine or primary care preferred

EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred

Ability to work independently and travel between two sites as needed
