Medi-Weightloss Clinics of Stamford and Wilton are seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing team. Position Summary
The Provider will work under the supervision of the Medical Director and provide comprehensive patient care focused on medical weight loss, wellness, and metabolic health. The ideal candidate enjoys educating and motivating patients to achieve sustainable lifestyle changes and long-term health improvements.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient consultations and follow-up visits
- Obtain and review medical histories
- Conduct physical examinations
- Order, review, and interpret laboratory results
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
- Educate patients on nutrition, exercise, healthy lifestyle habits, and long-term weight management
- Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Collaborate with clinic staff to provide exceptional patient care
- Support a positive and encouraging patient experience
Qualifications
- Active Connecticut APRN or Physician Assistant license
- Active DEA registration
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for preventive medicine and patient education
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
Schedule
Flexible scheduling available for Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN positions.
Work Location: In-person at our Stamford and/or Wilton locations.
