Full Job Description
Looking for an experienced part-time Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team and provide top-quality care to geriatric patients in a Nursing Home setting. The ideal candidate will be licensed and passionate about helping others, with experience in cardiology.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct physical exams on patients- Diagnose and treat various cardiac conditions including hypertension, myocardial infarction (MI), congestive heart failure (CHF), Arrhythmias.- Prescribe medications as needed- Provide follow-up care for ongoing management of chronic illnesses- Communicate effectively with staff members regarding patient issues
Requirements:
-Current license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of CT-Board Certified-Minimum of two years’ experience in cardiology- preferred-Long term care experience needed-Ok with mobile setting
