Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic medical environment. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Manage patient care in a busy internal medical/primary care office
- Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding their conditions and treatment options.
- Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Document all patient interactions accurately using ICD-10 coding for billing and record-keeping purposes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care for patients.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Valid state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
- Experience in a medical office setting preferred, but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation and billing processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
